Thank you Charlie and The Nugget Newspaper for the article about the Sisters Country Running Club. We are excited to watch it grow. If you ever find yourself in Sisters come join us!! Check out the article at
It’s #medalmonday and we both wanted to find the perfect quote to sum up this last week. The truth is that there is no perfect quote. We all have different reasons why we do what we do. Why we run and what motivates us. People have said, “I could never run that far”. There was a time when we never thought we could either. Amy started with running a 5k, I considered a 10k my “long” run, slowly we have progressed. Truth is, we are all capable of more, we are all stronger than we think. Yes, it is uncomfortable pushing beyond our perceived limits but the reward lasts us a lifetime.
Super excited to crew this guy at the Banana Slug Backyard Ultra. Weather looks perfect for running (a little cold for crewing). You can follow along on our story or at @slug.run . It may be a long few days. #backyardultra #bananaslugbackyardultra #dostupidshit #dostupidshitonsaturday #sisterscountryrunningclub #runningfordays #ultrarunning #enduranceathletes
