We are over the moon excited to introduce the newest member of our pack. Although we haven’t formally met her yet, we are already in love. Ruthie “Ruby” will be joining us soon. Our @hylandspowered family is mourning the loss of one of our friends. Shauna, her husband James and her father Robert were killed tragically in a plane crash, leaving behind an adorable 1 year old boy. We all have a different way of grieving but we all have a shared passion for running as did Shauna. David and I didn’t know her well but what we do know is that she had a smile that would light up the room, she loved her family and friends dearly, was passionate about her work as a veterinarian and just as passionate about running. Our hearts go out to their families, friends and their little boy. Live life, love, forgive, find your passion and don’t wait until tomorrow. ❤️🧡
@mudslingerevents WEMBO 24 hour solo mountain bike race. Not the day he wanted or anticipated but it could have been worse. Road rash sucks but it will heal. We can always learn from days like today. A little bit of healing/recovery and then on to the next adventure!! (there was way more road rash but the photos are not appropriate for social media)

#medalmonday is back which means races are happening!! It has been some time since either of us have done a road marathon and now we remember why 😫. We think we will stick to the trails for awhile.
